Political Pinocchio

Political Pinocchio killed my black friends

My family

Though I wasn't surprised

Another day with dark skin

I sipped my tea

Political Pinocchio has never liked people like me

Dark skin

Kinky hair

Squishy nose

Melanin

Everyone is born equal!

His nose grew

Mistrust, Misguidance

That is what he provides to youth

Following me, digging a hole in my mental health like a cavity in my sweet tooth

Destroying our communities or trying to pick up the pieces?

Political Pinocchio wants to destroy my blackness

But it's only to "protect America"

War on drugs!

His nose grew

The youth growing up with no rehabilitation

Mass incarceration

No respresentation

Her child was taken

From her, her only child

Death in police custody

No punishment

Privilege

White Privilege

This has always been

Everyone is equal!

His nose grew

We must make America great again?

When was America great?

For Freddie Gray

For Sandra Bland

For Philando Castile

For Black America

Fists up

Continue the Fight
