President is Black

There's no one keeping you down
he says
because the President is Black

You don't need a scholarship
for your melanin
because the President is Black

He tells me I live a comfortable life
And now for the first time in history it is inconvenient
to be a white male

His cyan eyes grab me by the collar
and shout
STOP BEING OPPRESSED

He spent all his life apologizing and now he's angry
Angry with me
Because our President is Black
