The Process of My Life

My year people ask well here goes.

Brother in distress

Momma gets no rest

But I still have to be my best

Granny almost at the end

108 years did her justice

One foot in the grave feels like just yesterday,

Now she standing five toes down

Feeling like I am giving up on myself

But I gotta keep pushing, my mother's keeper they call me

Everyday i have to say,

You are in high school now you have more going for you

Keeping my head up even though the sorrow in my eyes cries out to be heard

Shining as bright as the sun i prospere

My past year was educational and heuristic

I can say with certitude that i will be changed for life+

Some of the things that have happened this past year have molded

Not only to be a better person but

A more well rounded person

A educated person

A flourishing young lady growing into her own skin

A girl believing that she can make a difference on the place we call Earth.

So now that you've heard my story, does that make you look at me differently
