"A Purple Tear"

A purple tear dropped down her cheek,

it was so strong she could not speak

to stop the tears they could not waste another colors perfect taste

As the war grew less colors be.

less happiness, less joy, less glee

the war had to stop. before terror would struck

then one day the world was in shock

After the rain, after the thunder

the world united and wondered

where was that arch? that perfect bow?

that from up there came deep down low

into our hearts to let it show, to make flow, for peace to grow

that day the world came to an end

because that day we lost our friend

the rainbow.

The little cried a purple tear,

because the rainbow dissapeared.
