Remedy
My heart beats,
But it no longer beats for you.
My lungs expand,
But you no longer are the cause for my breathless moments.
I'm stronger.
My legs burn,
But you are no longer my destination.
My soul is satisfied,
But you no longer are the reason.
I'm stronger.
You left,
I stayed,
I found a new remedy.
How much tortue would you have put me through?
You stay,
I run,
I found a new remedy.
A simple attraction that reflects right back at me.
I'm stronger.
