Roses Aren't Just Red and Violets Aren't Really Blue

Roses are red

Violets are blue

But roses aren't only red

And violets aren't really blue

We forget about the other colors of the roses

We change the color of violets because it's hard to rhyme the word violet

But the more I think about this

Are we really talking about flowers?

The way we can forget where they come from

The way we take away their color and make it our own

The way we change who they are with our words

The way we turn them into lies

But violet is hard to rhyme with any other word

So its cool

Right?
