Routine

Location

I have the same routine when I wake up,

In the morning.

Put on my shirt and jeans

Go to work.

Typically I make coffee for breakfast,

Getting two hours of sleep

My body craves it.

As I get into my car,

I spill coffee on my blouse,

No surprise.

Oh great, now there’s traffic,

Fifth time being late.

Running in through the door,

Of course I see my boss.

I take a seat at my desk and prepare my paperwork,

For the day.

My 9-5 day begins.
