San Sebastián

Dear San Sebastián,

I walked along your white Boardwalk
made up of thousands of little white pentagons
overlooking the sea
the turquoise water crashing upon the soft scorching sand
I saw the beautiful faces of hundreds of unfamiliar strangers
I smelled the zephyr of the salty air breathed in by the sea itself
I heard the harmonious sound of a rusty saxophone
played by an elder
and I thought to myself
I never want to leave
