The Secret Killer

It's Okay

She feels it everyday

The feeling of being forgotten

The feeling of being hurt

It's Okay

She always seems to say

The burdens always stay hidden

She hoped no one could see her pain

It's Okay

She lies again today

"I'm fine" flows off her lips

She needs saved from herself

It's Okay

She begins to decay

The air she breathes is gone

She is trapped in her own mind

It's Okay

She can't get away

There on her arm is her own letter

She longed for a ray of hope

It's Okay

She is her own prey

The unworthy feeling rages inside

She didn't think she'd lose herself

It's Okay

She made herself this way

You couldn't have destroyed her

She wouldn't burden you too

It's Okay

You don't have to love me anyway

No one can truly see

The Secret Killer is me
