To have humility is to think less
Of ourselves ‘cause we are God’s creation
Red, yellow, black, white, tell that to the press
For the races received much damnation.
Injustice is still there we need prayers
‘cause we must break the inequality
And give love to those considered strayers
Who want to feel amiability.
The Freedom Riders endured their drives
To prove we are a populace akin
Longing for a single right that revives
Us to a new safe world that should have been.
MLK spoke, who will step up to speak
For the rights of blacks to reach freedom’s peak
