Strangers and Friends

You see the heartache.

You see the pain.

You see the tears.

You see the anguish.

You ask why.

You ask how.

You ask where God is.

Where is He in the dark?

How could He let

A young child die?

Why doesn't He

Do something.

I charge you:

LOOK.

Look at the world

And learn to see.

See the people

Working to save.

Working for change

For hearts, souls, and lives.

See.  Feel.  Hear

The words of comfort.

See the strangers.

See the friends.

All the people who

Reach for hearts.

All those who pick up

Shattered pieces.

See these,

And you see God.

See how His light

Is alive and well.

See the people

Who fight the darkness

And work to save

A soul.

See them alive

With fire from God.

See them filled

With the Spirit.

You ask

Where is God?

I tell you.

He is here.

He is here if

You learn to see.

He is here if

You only look.

See the strangers.

See the friends.

The people sent from God

Into the world.

See them,

And you see God.

See the strangers.

See the friends.

See God.
