Then and Now

Day one

Thin black mist

Floating like clouds

Quiet little thoughts

Singing sultry melodies

Malicious lying mirrors

Distorting initial images

Shiny silver razor

Tempting shaky fingers

Day sixty-five

Bottomless baleful hole

Swallowing every breath

Heavy vacant mind

Drowning in desolation

Evil broken mirrors

Overwhelming shattered hopes

Sharp scarlet blade

Chanting dismal victories

Day one hundred and fifteen

Bluish white sky

Appearing through obscurity

Light happy conscience

Draining apathetic oceans

Mended rueful mirrors

Correcting hazy portrayals

Wicked dirty knife

Disappearing among waste
