Together

Imagine how our World used to be,
Not even getting to hang out with the person we want to see.
Long ago, there was no World of integration.
The only thing there was, happened to be segregation.
Blacks and whites could not even be seen together.
Each thinking their own race was a special treasure.
Now look at the World today,
No one would ever believe it was that way.
Blacks and whites now go to the same places.
Without getting looked at with ugly faces.
Here our World stands at last.
Never looking back on the past.
Blacks and whites are now together.
Our World is ours and should stay that way forever.
