Untouchable

Oh! my beloved Mia,

I can feel her salty tears splashing back and forth against the tan sandy beaches,

her longing to intertwine with me to form great seas,

even though freshwater and saltwater don’t mix.

I can hear her cries for help,

I want so badly to help her but I cannot go anywhere near her,

it feels like we are years apart,

never to cross paths in the torture people call time.

I can see her beautiful face,

her soft flowy hair cascading down her beautiful back,

like everlasting waves flowing out to sea never to be seen again by the human eye.

I can smell her ambrosial perfume,

as it gives me the feeling of breathing in the salty mouthwatering ocean air,

but never going into the sea for the fear of drowning consumes me.

The dread of causing disruption between the seas devours me,

but my fear cannot and will not stop me from my true love,

even if my love for her may seem star-crossed,

I will leap across innumerable stars to be with her.
