"I have a dream"
he said loud and clear
"I have a dream"
broke through the thick air
many applauded in hope
hope that one day
all men and women
be treated equally
marches began
the movement rose
blood was shed
tears were cried
some, no longer alive
the fight was tough
Long
but faltering
there was none
standing tall
hope in their eyes
courage in their hearts
right conquered wrong
the fight had ended
triumph overcame them
thanks to
the battle for their rights
the one that changed their lives
forever
