Voice

I am a voice, waiting to be heard, melodious for eternity.

I wonder if laughter is sharing in disguise I hear the voices of ones long gone.

I see the fruit of our ancestors take root.

I want no greed, nor jealousy.

I am a voice, waiting to be heard, melodious for eternity.

I pretend to stand fast like a palm tree in a hurricane.

I feel the spirits waiting inside me.

I feel the satin by which the soul is woven.

I cry for all the things lost, distant and near.

I am a voice, waiting to be heard, melodious for eternity.

I understand true love with all my heart.

I say prayers of understanding.

I dream that good things really were what they seemed.

I try to change people for the better.

I hope for world peace to spread to the four corners of our earth.

I am a voice, waiting to be heard, melodious for eternity.
