A Voice on Wheels

A voice speaks out
Her words ring through the world
A woman heard across the nation
She asks for something as simple as retaining her seat
She asks for a desegregated bus and change
Is it too hard to ask?
For a bus that would transcend lives, and races?
A bus with no color boundaries?
But nay, this is for a greater cause
One that would allow many to rise
To rise for rights
For Freedoms
For Change
In the end, a bus leaves the station in 2013
It's wheels move with a sigh
The passengers all unite
'Hear Us' 'Hear Us'
In the end, all was heard
And the voices began to sing.
One voice is needed
To start a revolution
Let all voices unite
And sing once more, again
