Washed Away

I see myself in the mirror

I see fears and a red stain

That red stain comes from my heart

That red stain expanded but then it stopped

Why did it stop you may ask?

It stopped because something in me washed away

It was like the rain, the rain washed away my fear

My fear of public speaking

Last year my fear was like a tornado

Nothing would stand in its way

The only one who could stop it, is me

I knew I had the power of doing that

I see myself in the mirror now

I see a washed away fear and a stagnant red stain

That red stain is still there

That red stain will continue to be there forever but more faded
