Whats the hardest part of life?

Some poeple say, that life is just hard.

Others say losing a loved one is the hardest part of life...

To me, it's seeing the person you love slowly go away.

Watching them as they lose how to walk and talk.

  Watching and waiting,

For the end of a cycle that seems endless.

For the angels up in heaven to come down to take tha person back home.

Sadly but gladly that this person hasn't left this earth yet.

You can feel the angels as shadows, waiting for the one you love to say,

I'm ready, even if you don't want them to.

   Watching and waiting,

Is continuing....

You look into the soul of your loved one,

Hug them,

Talk to them,

Laugh with them,

and Love them.

    Watching and waiting,

As you see them look death in the face on and off again.

The agonizing pain of helplessness,

is deathining to you,

While the person you love is fearless....

Watching and waiting....is a silent cry for those of us,

who wish Alzheimer's never existed.
