In the Way of her Destiny

Old cat calls and ethanol teeth
the cat calls
sex calls her
the enemy is calling and she answers every time
she hears me never, she listens always, anyways
she is ready to leave here
ready to pack her bags and her sins and flee, and fly, and move
get these diseases off of her
let her breath, let her speak, let her live
six months ago last week and-and she did not know until this morning
mind quarantined
gets difficult with his touch soused all up her shoulders  and his back, her breath
he calls this beautiful
but she smiles so that's all that matters if he can roll over and smile at her
this is her first time here
and don't nobody know how  much she loved the way he watched these grandfather memories,
blackness in his cup her father in him the way they roll their tongues when they write or drink
articulating about beautiful he has drenched himself in her 12-14 years of waiting
she was the youngest , the biggest, the most profound and fine
she bathes her self in self determined confidence
he has named her and she listens
but she knows that it is to late to be
considering ward-ship
his chronic conditions hand-in-hand with her heart hand-in-hand with what everyone else is doing
but no one is jealous of
there is no sleep after this
she cannot white water wash these sins
or rock them back to what she loves
what she hates
she is angry
but it is much too past time to be considering barriers
quarantined minds that don't believe this can happen to them
it happened to her
now she sits , wondering and weeping about how to tell this boy- these men, that her last lover forgot his indisposition
favored his indisposition and left it here
to feast on her sanity
poisonous her fight
why- why would she bear babies only to genocide drench her insides
its 50/50, or 50% or a chance or possibility death is calling so, she cant remember
sex is calling so she must keep holiness stayed on her thoughts
holiness stayed on her heaven
she is too stubborn to see the grace clothed in her sickness
God has plans for her stubbornness and this being sick
his favor has been on her
but she is too sick to see it
