We Can Make A Change

My government tries to promote racial equality

But can’t see, much less break its chains.

Which is decreasing everyone’s life quality,

All due to the pigments of our skin, not the blood in our veins.

But we can make a positive change in our nation,

Though we must start with understanding and laughter

Because we have tried healing through segregation

Which hurt everyone and was a complete disaster.

But how can we make this country nondiscriminatory?

By listening to others and trying to accept their story.
