Welcome Home

Put down the knife

Let down your hair

Abandon those thoughts

You're no longer there

I was there

Watching from above

Answering your prayers

Sending my love

I watched you wither

Consumed in your pain

Silently screaming

Their words echoing in your brain

I tried to save you

To hold your hand

To reassure your worth

But I couldn't stop what you'd planned

As the blood rushed from your veins

And you gasped for air

I pulled you close

As you softly murmured a prayer

I'm here to tell you

You're no longer alone

Welcome to Heaven,

Welcome Home
