What You Mean to Me

Wed, 10/18/2017 - 17:05 -- kmccul

A question was asked,

a long time ago.

What you meant to me,

well I did not know.

My feelings were mixed,

my heart filled with questions.

That left me with my head,

wide open for life's lessons.

You were there to guide me,

to love me all the way through.

You are happy with just me,

and I am happy with just you.

Not once have we fought,

not once a tear has shed.

But smiles have been made,

with the words we have said.

The looks you give me,

with your shining beautiful eyes.

Can make me forget all the bad memories,

filled with the unforgettable lies.

To describe what I feel for you,

would take years upon years.

But the love I can give to you,

will always be yours, my dear.

For now you have this,

to cherish night upon night.

My love I give to you,

my shining white knight.
