Where Do I Go From Here?

In the blink of an eye,

it can all vanish,

it could all appear.

Where do I go from here?

Do I let go? Do I keep on?

At the early age of 5,

we learn manners.

In the blink of an eye

We could become monsters

Or we could become saints.

Where do I go from here?

At the age of 13

We learn about eachother.

We could become friends

Or we could become victims of humility,

drugs, or viloence.

Where do I go from here?

Graduation.

Valedictorian or remedial classes.

GPA and college applications.

Where do I go from here.

Fuck, there goes my life.

A baby on the way.

What about going to college, what about jobs?

I have no experience.

Where do I go from here?

Two jobs, no sleep, I'm ready to give up.

No one taught me the correct way.

Where do I go from here?

CPS, parenting classes, alcohol abuse.

As if I'm a criminal.

I'm just learning life.

I'm bound to lose it all again.

Where do I go from here?

Struggling, breaking, emotions, falling.

No one to lean on, therapy isn't working.

Stay strong, life has only begun.

Where you are now,

Is not where you're meant to be.

Push on.

You will rise.

But,

Where do I go from here?
