Who Is She?

Who is this I stand staring at?

Blank faced, no grace, and little fashion taste

Where are her purses, painted nails, and pumped up kicks

Where is her lipstick, eyeliner, and expensive clothes

Who is this non-popular freak show?

With her big ears, flat hair, and freckles

Where are her friends, followers, and foes

With their fake tales, french nails, and plastic shells

Who is this nerd I stand starring at?

With her arms full of books

she tries harder on grades than looks

Doesn't she know it’s not cool to be smart?

Who is this girl I don't understand?

Why isn't she intimidated by the others

They have gorgeous hair, cute wear, she doesn’t compare

her clothes aren't expensive, but she doesn't seem to care

Who is this proud young woman?

She stands so tall, never to fall

Why can’t they all tell she’s a down-to-earth girl

She not just some nerd, a freak show, or even fake

She not like the others, she's not just some flake.
