Who You've Made Me

I am not she

I will never look the same

But, I am me

And you are to blame.

You say that you love me

How can that be?

I am not perfect

I’m only maybe a 3.

In your eye,

My smile is the brightest

You call me pretty when I cry

I say you are lying, but is it really a test?

You will never back down

You will make me believe.

You will wipe off this frown

And I know you will never leave.

You have helped me grow

I can almost accept who I am

This is, though,

Why I smile, when I call you my man.

I love you forever

And now I love myself too,

We were meant to be together

Because I am only me when I am with you.
