When will it be ok

To no longer hide

From a world full of hate

And a society full of lies?

 

Why can't we be blind

To the colors of our skin

Only then would we find

What Doctor King really meant

 

What can we do

To soothe all the pain

If only we knew

How to bring sunshine to rain

 

Maybe it's just me

But how did we sink so low?

Why didn't we see

When God became a foe?

 

I'm searching for the answers

But I can't do it alone

Society's become a cancer

And it's deadliness only grows

 

We must find a cure

To society's disease

Or we'll forever be at war

And we'll never find peace
