Witchy Mother

The witch impatient

and overwashed by hunger,

Hansel and Gretel

will be food by supper.

"I know of someone more

plump than we! Meet our mother

and then you'll see!"

Hansel suggested

as the witch reflected.

"She despites children, such as you,

so please, oh please don't make

us stew!" Gretel requested,

but the witch protested,

"That woman may be full

of sins, but she allowed

me to eat you twins!"

Despite her lack of sight,

the witch began to fight.

Before ambushed,

Gretel pushed

and lit the witch on fire.

With much luck, the witch

was stuck and made her

into cinder.

From where they were deserted

Made it back home

And just as they suspected

the mother ceased to roam.
