Women, Girls, Millenial

I think it is safe to say we, the girls and women, of this millennial are powerful.

We shout and protest to change the world.

The silent ones, subdued are just as powerful, with all the oppression they endure.

With our power, we are allowed to speak.

Feminists have a voice, a strong one.

But some, they don't know, what it is to be a feminist.

Being a feminist is equality and solely equality.

Not short skirts and boobs hanging out.

It's equal pay.

Equal jobs.

Equal trials.

Equal education.

Equal power.

It is not having to always be with a group for protection.

It is not having to cover up until no skin is shown.

It is not having to come home before dark.

It is not having to be scared when a man comes up to you.

It is not having to worry about walking home alone, in the dark.

Feminism needs to be strong.

Feminism can't be a petty movement.

With feminism we, the girls and women, of this millennial can sing, rejoice, and feel the

safety of this world.
