Words Hurt

Words Hurt

All it takes is one word. Fat, ugly, dumb, worthless. Just one word to make them fear you.

Everyday they wake up feeling worthless and all alone. They feel like they don’t belong here, no purpose, no place to call home.

But don’t you know how toxic your words are? How much you intensify their suffering?

You must really enjoy to see their pain since it acts like your gain.

But you are all about getting power.

Which makes you a coward.

A coward that talks false words and mocks.

But only for your own self pleasure.

It’s sick, disgusting

Uncalled for and unnecessary.

Is it really that hard to be kind?

I mean, what did they ever do to you?

No, it doesn’t matter, you are too blind to see how much you hurt them. Words can hurt more than a punch.

Your so called “power” overshadows your humanity.

I bet you didn’t think it through, did you?

You don’t realize how it could have been.

What if your victim pulled a razor to their skin?

Would you even care?

Probably not.

You were too busy having fun, there was nothing that could be done.

Once your victim is gone, you’ll just find more prey to pry upon.

It’s like a cycle. It just keeps going without an end.

Will you ever learn?

This world has no time to be infected with people like you.

Once again, what did they ever do?

Not once did they hurt you based on your looks or insecurities and they never planned to.

But you still don’t care.

What will you do if someone took a stand?

Would you react like nothing got out of hand?

At first you would, but then you’ll see that they just needed a friend to set them free.

Two are stronger than one. You start to lose.

You can’t bare it so you will just move on to find more prey.

But hey, it’s bound to happen, right? Can’t get ‘em all.

But what makes you this way?

Did someone hurt you too? Oh, I wonder what that feels like.

Oh wait, I do. Will it ever come through to you?

Bullying only causes chaos. There will always be consequences in the end.

But then again, you just need your power. You still prefer to devour every bit of confidence they have.

Do you have any idea what your victim could be going through?

Their mom might be suffering from depression, their sibling might be dead.

Their dad might be working too long and hard and is never home. But who knows...

They might not even have parents at all.

This is why they build up a wall so you can’t see their pain but yet it slips through.

So when enough is enough, they will be sick of playing tough.

But they know they can make it through.

Because this time, they knew.

They knew that being the bigger person was the only option. It was time to stand up for themselves once more.

With help of their loved ones the insults don’t sting anymore, so stop wasting your breath.

Stop playing with life and death.

When someone takes their hand, their smile will no longer be fake.

They will have no more reason to ache because of you.

Now I hope you enjoyed this little rant.

But I know you, the bully, still can’t comprehend all that was being said.

So you see, we’ll make it simple for you.

A bully is never wanted, only wanted to leave.
