The world is brimming with colors
Spilling across the globe
In an array of pigments and hues:
Red, green, purple,
Blue, yellow, orange
There are also countless shades
Rivaling the number of stars in the sky
Foam green, dark blue,
And fire engine red
The world turns with these colors
A spinning wheel of paints and dyes
Joining together in perfect harmony
Yet all that is seen,
Is black and white

I greatly enjoy that come-from-behind meaning. It was truly unexpected. Keep writing, you have great promise.
