Im sorry Mrs. Parks and Dr. King,
You fought for a dream!...that is now barely conceived.
After all the marching and determination,
Most of us have grown to excel in dumbed down pronunciation.
Put a verb to a brown head and it anticipates a mental thunder storm!
And for that, who really to scorn but the panther nation?
Who heads the assassination of our own,
A violent, bickering, contempt overtone.
From even myself, and from those I have known.
But who sits on the throne really?
Ideally we'd moan at the slave masters cracking,
But in the present what does the thought of a moan condone?
Sexual Undertones?
We've truly Poisoned mind and the bones,
And most of you will say, look how far we've come...
and look how high we've grown,
But Negro!... HOW MUCH WILL WE SHRINK!... in these short years to come.
