There is NO doubt

No doubt at all

They take a second look

Or question me and my smarts,

“He can read a book?”

They try their best to say they’re sorry but it will never be enough,

The lives of those who have roots that are dark, different, and deep

I guess that refers to skin tone too

Black Lives Matter?

Yes they do, because they are being taken

Everyone wants to be black

Til its time

Our cultures, customs, or the things what we say

Influence white America every single damn day

But when we’re being shot and killed

Without a slap on the wrist

The ghostly voices saying “Nigga”

Quickly fade away
