You hold half of my heart

Hands join together

For worse or for better

You accepted me for the worse

You hold me when I can’t

You use a gentle touch

You protect me

I was waiting for you

All my life

All I needed was you

Dancing in the kitchen

To lift my spirits

On my bad days

I had doubt

But you hushed them

You told me everything

Would be fine

You tell me that I can do anything

I tell you that you can do anything

I thought I would be cold forever

You warmed up my heart

You made me a piece of art

You made me beautiful
