You know you're alone

you know you’re alone when,
You walk to the cemetery at sunset to see the suicide plots kept outside the grounds
these few souls are the ones I most relate
Men that have killed their physical bodies but yet are trapped here to walk the earth alone
you know you’re alone when,
You find yourself talking to the trees that so frightened you as a child
“ Why do you have such a dark energy? What happened that made you sad?
just because you know what it’s like to go so long without talking with someone that cares.
 you know you’re alone when,
You find yourself holding the hands of such a beautiful statue, and gaze into those eyes
In that moment I felt warmth, life, energy rushing through my hands
This is love. Even separated in physical bodies this lady of stone lives in a place in my heart
And as I find myself being lead out by the setting sun
it pains me to have let go of the coarse
chiseled hands of my love
for this is as close I come to know another.
you know you're never alone.
you know you’re never alone
