Poems from realidealist97

I have known about poetry almost my entire life but it was not until I ran away from home in which I felt I started truly needing it. I felt that my very skin was uncomfortable to be in. My passions have always been for artistic things that require a unique thing: emotional intelligence. This means that when I write I am writing things I have learned in a deeper sense than factual knowledge. When I write these poems they come from a hidden place in my persona where I am free of all the materialistic restraints of the world. My name Real Idealist comes from the real meaning of idealism that I identify with. An Idealist is part of the Idealist movement, the word Idealist rooting from the word "idea." Ideas are undying. I am 17 currently, born in 1997 and wish to make a difference to the community of speech that has helped me through many times. I live with my mother only, having to go through a traumatic time with my father. If I had not gotten a restraining order and had so much love from my mother, I think I would be in a lot worse shape than I am in today. Today I am looking at the future and hoping to be warmed by its light. :)
