You Only Write Once Scholarship Slam - CLOSED

ABOUT

It's rare that we hear of #YOLO and "classy" in the same sentence. After all, they are total opposites...right? At Power Poetry, we think It's time to class up #YOLO, so we're launching a new scholarship slam called #YOWO: You Only Write Once (for this scholarship slam).

Of course we hope you won't ONLY write once! By #YOWO, we mean you should make your words count. Write about anything in your life, school, community, country or the world that matters to you. This is about being heard--for the chance to win $1,000 for your education.

If you need inspiration, check out our action and tip guides for your #YOWO poem.
