I am married.. Am I married? What does that mean? 'Cause if it's to have a ring and sign a paper I am... What does it sound like? I have yet to understand its tune

On this day of love and light Two hearts come together, shining bright As they stand before family and friends Their journey of love and commitment begins   Today, two souls become one
Gather 'round, dear friends, and hear this tale, Of two hearts entwined, a love without fail. On this blessed day, we witness their vow, A promise to love, forever and now.
On this special day, two hearts beat as one, Joined in love and union, under the sun. The promises made, sealed with a kiss, A new chapter begins, filled with eternal bliss.
On this special day of love and light, Two hearts are joined, shining bright. With joy and hope, they take their vows, In front of family and friends, they make their house.
As two hearts beat as one, A new journey has just begun, A moment of joy and love, Sealed by the blessings from above.   Today, we celebrate two souls,
On this special day, we gather as one To witness the union of two hearts, now begun A celebration of love, a bond to be tied As two souls join, side by side
On this special day of love and joy, Two hearts become one, a blessed union to enjoy. In this sacred bond of matrimony, Love will flourish, a lifetime of harmony.
Two hearts beat as one, Joined in love's sweet embrace, Together they stand, In this holy, sacred place.   The bride, radiant in her beauty and grace, The groom, handsome and strong,
On this day of love and joy, Two hearts become one, oh boy! A union of two souls so pure, A bond that will forever endure.   The groom awaits his blushing bride,
Two hearts entwined in love's sweet embrace, A bond forged strong and true. On this day, they take their vows, To begin a life anew.   They stand before family and friends,
Fleeting desires cannot promise everlasting happiness. The marriage bed is definitely worthy of respect and reverence. Though marriage has it's challenges and tribulations, I still would not exchange it for anything else in this world.
A mass was said for us in Ireland, by request of my grandmother's sister, or my mom's aunt Nora.
I love you the very best Even times of stress Please love me so I can rest
I feel your heart within my soul, You make me feel like butter on a cob, But take good care my lovelies, For you may disappear, Giving more than you receive, Is the absolute price of admission,
The first time I met you I thought nothing of love You were smart, you were funny And a friendship began The more that I knew you Things started to change My mind was conflicted
A real wife Is the other half The spouse Of the big or small house
Like spermatozoa and oocytes They walked down the aisle  To be rebirthed on the birth bed of holy matrimony
Oh foreigner, I have lots of fine boys in my area, and good girls in my corner, may i bring you together?   The question is not really one, as her mind is already piecing it, bit by bit.
Bride's veil concealing beauty - White mist unfolding light, Groom's heart in restless longing - Rays to pierce mist to bright.

I think the reason so many lovers get married on the beach Is because it’s the one place The only public place Where marriage is all around you, Where the ocean marries the shore
People maried by chain, other maried by rings, Maried by bride price, other agree each other, Boys paid on it, some girls paid on it.
Theres someone for everyone, they always say In this I have hope, Patient Ill stay You'll come when I stop looking, so I did Ill play the long game, and reject the Id
The canoe has a hole in it   Still we took it out so far And travelled all the coves   No one is in the houses  Only buzzards flying above us Time is owned by the trees

You think it's going to be your way or the highway but that's not how it's going to be.You'd better change your way of thinking if you want to continue to be married to me.You are not always going to get your way.
When we see each other life means so much more.. When we hug our souls intertwine as one. When we kiss our spirits are made whole.. When our laughter echoes through the air, all of heaven rejoices.
When we see each other life means so much more.. When we hug our souls intertwine as one. When we kiss our spirits will be made whole.. When our laughter echoes through the air all of heaven will rejoice.

Take me where flowers bloom, And the sweet fragrance touches us.   From above, the clouds and the moon, All come down to be the witnesses.   We hold hands, make those promises,
Baby you and me we were never quite so perfect    We had a lot of things uncommon, unalike   We were different, day and night   You like the dark and I’m like a bright light
Smile for me As I smile for you Listen to the music We'll be making some real soon Moonlight and stars Decorate your eyes I'll remember this night for the rest of my life
When you hurt There is a malevolent force  One feeling you can feel Which is all great remorse.   It was only once Wait it became twice The feeling was so good It became thrice.

Eagle wins the game And then loves his precious wife. He dates a new bird!
The word "fight" never seemed to apply I see its far more than what meets the eye A promise made in youth that must live when youth dies And I fight. Oh, its a front and a facade - yes, I fight!

Backstory/Commentary: This was written on May 5th, 2017,  right on the cusp of me diving into a relationship with my now ex,
Ask not what I’ve done for through love I go Unperturbed by discord. But voices rise, And nuptial accords turned insultful cries, For some reason, truly I do not know?
Dear Future Wife, How beautiful you are to me Yet who knows if our eyes have met It pains me to try living patiently I will wait for you and will have no regrets For one day I will give my all to you
Dear Fear,           You strike out of nowhere like a snake killing its prey. Wrapping your tight body around me until I can’t catch my breath.
Dear Future Husband,   Face to face, we have not met, But that changes not a thing. I wonder when, but I don’t fret. In time we will exchange rings.   I hope that you are dashing,
I need you and you need me We give, we take, We show, we see We laugh, we cry We live, we die, Together Half of enough
For such a long time, I thought I understood long term relationships and that anyone can have them at any age Specifically my own personal demographic But suddenly A switch flipped And a light bulb flickered
There’s a name for whatever this is— You call it a beautiful agony because you’ve got a lot to lose I call it a chaotic chemistry to maintain my flow   It was an off-day for you
Dear Future Husband, This may sound cliché, But I’m writing this for a scholarship, That may just come my way!   I hope that you, of all people, Are finding the fun in life,
I once saw a picture of a couplewho were as happy as can be. The white gown, alstroemerias, and uniform made them prettier than you and me. Their smiles were crimson like fruitwhich attracts all at the height of spring.
Dear future lover, I am not easy to love. I am unworthy. I will shower you in affection and yet feel as though I do not deserve yours
Dear Future Child(ren) I was only sixteen when I told your grandparents I never wanted to be like them.To start off on that note is probably the least positive I could've done, I'm aware.
I was jogging down the road one day imbibing in the sun The sky was clear, the air was sheer as I went on my run.   At intervals I took a break
Dear Future Husband, I didn't know you were looking for something, easier to swallow But For years I watched my father walk over women
What is love? Is it just a word to say? Is it a belief I can use just to get my way? Is it the voice inside your head that says, “Because of me, the verbal abuse is okay."?
On a fall afternoon He had leaned closer to me, And said “I love you”   Then I was confused A phrase with many meanings, But which one was true   I looked at him,
For one does not know the meaning of love Until one has fallen captive For now, they think of only the other And how it all had happened
Would it mean the same in words If I took your hand in mine? To glance across your sleeping face Or rest my head, benign? When we say, “I love you.” What forces make it so?
A man lies in bed, Thinking of life, And the name of that idea Was the one of his wife.   He smiled as he picked up his pen, Writing in his book, And the way he stroked his pen
A man lies in bed, Thinking of life, And the name of that idea Was the one of his wife.   He smiled as he picked up his pen, Writing in his book, And the way he stroked his pen
Because I love you, you will always have my respect. Because I love you, you will always have my trust. Because I love you, you will always have my attention. Through thick and thin, In sickness and health,
You told me you loved me  Ain’t hear that in a while  i’m just so used to broken heart aches  and wearing a mask over my smile  Don’t tell me that you love me and 5 minutes later you’re someone new
The sand shifts beneath my feet as I walk towrds the ocean.A hand grasps my own as we walk along the beach. The salty air wafting up my nose as I stood there posed.
I woke up early Made you breakfast in bed Because I love you Took out the trash Despite what you said Because I love you
You are the moon and I am the stars. So close, yet so very far. They seem to have met a million times. yet somehow, it's still not mine. the moon and the stars still haven't met.
I grew up in a house filled with I love you's, Eyes and cheeks painted black and blue,  They got I love you the most,  My mom was as white as a ghost, When my dad would say.. because I love you,
I love you, With this Life. You will be my Wife   I will continually try, Please, do not cry. I will always Love you, & This is True   Even after I die

Rubies glint on the sill in the light of the sun-- A light she'd once seen through miles of murk. "Happily ever after" she heard herself say, While her stranger of a husband prepared for his work.
I want to be married one day. I want to be a lot, a whole lot, but one of the bigger things is that I want to be married someday.   And I don’t know if it’ll happen. I’m scared that it won’t,
The Storms we made last night Sent the birds flying To calmer pastures  Lest they feared dying   The Storms we made last night Shook the hotel to its foundations The chaplain surely wondered,

Today I met a friend Someone Strong and funny and out going Someone small and frial. Someone faint of heart   I met someone knowledgeable  but that wasn't my friend

A Place of white supremacy Lies a little white girl like me There is no hate when I pick a mate But only if I decline the straight I pick and choose which side I fight on
Dreaming of the day When I discover the way you walk The way you smell The way your voice sounds deep When you speak and my ear is against your chest The way you kiss me gently But boldly
Here in a room, with a glass full of liquor. And crushed to know, I desperately do need her. Standing there, staring right towards a mirror. Feeling helpless, like a tragic bum filled with anger.
Rita June, staring silent at Indiana snow, robed up in a worn, old, pink throw lights her cigarette by the kitchen window.   She squints and she licks her thin, blotted lips,
Love the wife of Loyalty stands with her husband's arms wrapped around her and her arms wrapped around him in an warming embrace. Loyalty looked into the eyes of Love and said
She gave up that retirement plan So she could become all that she can Pushing away the money vice She knows what it means to make a sacrifice   Gripping on the helm of fate Praying it's never too late
Love the wife of Loyalty stands with her husband's arms wrapped around her and her arms wrapped around him in a warming embrace. Loyalty looked into the eyes of Love and said
i promise to never let you go do everything i can to never say no i promise to always be by your side no matter what happens ill always be your guide i promise to be with you till the end of time

Five days a week I drag myself onto a bus. To be taken to a place that is bleak but there is a plus,   for everyday that passes is a day closer to seeing her. Going through these classes
they swore love and endured hate
Sunsets in the distance And a long drive ahead. Another excruciating day, Finally coming to an end. As my shoe hits the gas and I make my way home, One thing comes to my mind. Her.
It has been a long tiresome day . But for some reason, I don’t want to go home . Oh, I know why I don’t want to go home yet. I need to put a few in me first.
May I, by the power vested in me by the love I have for you,  Place this ruby ring on your quivering finger, Or will you slap it away?   May I, by the faith I have in God
I have a friend who is 17, a junior in high school, and getting married. Automatic thinking: you’re too young to be getting hitched. You don’t even know what love is.
Love surpassing something as limited as the heart and human emotion. The seas apon the globe are nothing but mere shallow ponds in comparison to the capacity we own as one. You are me, I am you.
"Just Married" signs are so  wonderful to be seen  on the back of a car speeding down the highway to a destination  unknown by onlookers.  The direction only to be determined
You won't get married to him. Not yet, at least. I probably won't either, but that's only because you're both cheaters. But for now, I'm glad I ruined your chance with him. By the way, you're a terrible cook
Consider the fog that settles beneath me The underneaths of the narrow bridges They trap the mist around my skin The breeze cools me as it feathers throughout the air
You are... You are my crazy, my sane, my strength, my weakness You are my law, my procalamtion, my truth, my forgiveness You are my ride or die, my #1 fan, my soldier, my ally
lush gardenias bowing under all their weight silver lined plates bearing exotic cuisines from all over the world taffeta trains billowing
Vow
At the moment it was the same  the perfect scenario, fitting in  the life of two to become one   it’s shattered like class dropped
Dear True Love, Will my feet touch the ground? Or will I fall into Your arms? Or be in Your heart? Or be perfect in Your eyes as the Son still shines?
When you are away  I am lost and afraid You are the light to my day, needless to say I have no direction when you are away. When my life is in pieces
I don't want to say you're all I need. That I can't live without you.  That when we fall asleepI match my inhale to yours. I want to say that I exist on my own. That I can standwithout your arms around me.
I'm never happier than when I'm with you. I don't know what you do. / I'm not used to these feelings. / What are you doing to me? I'm constantly singing, involuntarily,
Knots tied tightly forever, In love we'll walk together Merrily ever after. My one and only life partner:
Endowed with many emotions Some which lead to eternal devotion The rings that bless those who wear And given then to another pair Together entwined their hearts shall be
Lips a lullaby, soft words a few Warm Caresses, every cell on end Tongue strums, O so sweet a melody Fingers searching, finding every crevice Dark eyes, look straight into the abyss of love
WHERE ARE YOU, LOVE!? Where are you oh love, That tears my heart apart, With waters of loneliness? Where are you oh love, That puts asunder, what the wind of joy tries to tye together?
every time a see a new tweet i hope its from you coz i find you to sweet i dont want to pretend so i guess we end this friendship and board anew ship leading straight into the sea
Incantation Red By: Ashlyn Narvaez   Let the anger leave my body Cast a spell upon the words Let the trauma lift above me Create a haunting with its curse
I am...   I am Covenant With contract, I have a retreat With contract, I have a devotion of convenice With Covenant, I have a Devotion based on Solemn Promise.
My collar's too tight, the room is too hot. I shuffle my feet, my stomach's in knots. Once I look up, I can breathe because I see There she is walking towards me   As she comes my way, passing pew by pew,
I am... I am merry, I am upbeat, I am content, I am pleased,
Virgin Girl
They are imbued in doubt  and therefore can never be certain Their hearts long in the past and therefore cannot embrace the present   Their fears are caged inside  and therefore will never be free
The odours and smell assault me first.  Fried fat, sticky sweets and over piqued thirst. Energetically wrapped in fest and jest,
Don’t you remember that day When I declared to you my love? And you smiled, as you cried of joy Thinking if God was witnessing from above   We promised each other eternal love
I wish I knew who I am I've just always been his wife His rock & friend So who would I be without him in my life? I miss him so much but its not what you think
Death from lying Always crying My souls escaping to the sky There is no love among this dark Falling from grace and torn apart Consumed by you I lost myself Lived for your love and happiness
F**k Your Marriage   I utterly despise seeing statistics about marriage How dare you tell me my love isn't as sweet as A horse drawn carriage on a summer night As the sky opens up in an attempt to compete
I may appear unbroken and strong... I may appear with power and faith. I may show my love within a song. But my appearance is only a phase.   I cry and I weep like humans will do...
A red tree kissed a Golden Cloud. Two hearts bound together with thread.
As quickly as a sound is heard
Never was there anything as sweet as laying in your arms fast asleep Never could there be softer words spoken then from he Only one could be the perfect fit it so happens that we go hip to hip
I love you Now and forever Your smile Your eyes Your voice Your friendship You. I love you. I'll stay with you As long as you want Now and forever I'll love you
Woman+man,woman+woman,man+man

I pledge allegiance To the flag I remember the day My best friend said “I think I might be gay”
"Wifie" You make me sick Saying it cutesy As if it lessens the bounded meaning   I'll hide behind a smile Pretending I understand When in al honesty, I just want to push you away
Will He, Does He, Can He? By Jay Whitney
After awhile you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul.  And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning  And company doesn't mean security.
Your wife is what you are not, She is your missing half. She is in your life now, And doesn't care about the past.   She's always there right by your side, No one can compare.
Standing tall, this bride of mine Resplendent in white, a glow in time Her eyes as bright as sparkling gems
He first saw her from across the room and he knew in that moment he would be her groom with butterflies in his stomach he drew near but had no clue she too felt an exciting yet nervous fear
The soft breeze sways the trees As you twirl me in a bed of leaves to the rhythm of our beating hearts You pull me close and our souls' music starts   Your breath whispers in my ear
We are groups of people made to hate because of who we love not what we stand for. Did no one listen to  your parents? You treat others how you want to be treated not
For love is as strong as death So did you ever really love? Was tenderness your hearts concern? What I see plainly says you forgot Maybe those wedding vows are stored away somewhere
As my skin captures rays from the sun, I start thinking about what went down. The way he hit her and how they both liked it, The way she started to pale as crimson stained his hair.
A wife is not someone to be attained, nor an asset to be gained, but a beautiful, wonderful, marvelous woman, to be cherished till the end of her days.  Whether pleasant, and kind or not so divine, I wish to love her just the same.  For
Oh dear husband I’ve reached my last straw! Your lover and you have become too enthralled!
Baby Girl!! What are you doing?!! Do you care about your life? Being a mother isn't easy Being a single mother is harder Being a single, young mother is damn near impossible.
Her world shook and violently crumbled, her loyal man was no longer humbled.
"Don’t get married."
I have a dream that one day equality will mean just that. Marriage is a right for everyone. I have a dream that one day discrimination will no longer exist.
I remember when we first met, or when we sent the first textsand how it was so detrimental to you when i first leftI told you babe don't sweat because we'll always be together
Let me tell you straight,I say yes you say noI say come you say goI hide and you showI inhale while you blowDifferent….
The wait was always the hardest, Once I got a hold of you, My heart raced with anticipation, Of the feeling of you. Your eyes were the flame, The flame that heated the spoon,

In the beginning we were happy, I was happy. By total chance Jay and Elle found each other. Even worlds apart, there was this fire that burned, It burned hot, it was a fire that burned deep inside.
"To change the world is to change your heart" The paradigm shifts, the brand new starts From year to year and end to end The "change that lasts" is a change that bends To patterns, forms, molds, and parts

When the bubble filled, fall-into-your-eyes-love-and-affection stage of this relationship fades away what will we do...we have children and each other. We aren't making "sweet love" anymore, but getting each other off.
So far and away, Unable to touch you, Unable to feel you, But in an instant, I Can See You. I close my eyes and there you are, Standing there, looking back. Your eyes, a sea of blue, fixed on me,
I don't understand "All people created equal" But their love is still banned.
I'll send you my apologies now, In letter form, so I can be Oblivious. Instead I'll write my heart.   First, I will send one for my brooding spirit. Many nights will you stay up worrying at my

I never knew loving you would hurt.  I did everything in my power to make it work. Nobody else around me feels this hurt. Just teach me to love you, help me learn. I wanna know what it takes to please you.

My Love,   You are my heart, my joy, and my bride. For you, I took the nails and the wound in my side. For you, I was beaten beyond recognition. For you, I lived knowing I’d endure crucifixion.
