1 Life 1 Legacy

I woke up like this, I would say but that would be a lie.

I was always taught to work hard to achieve things.

If you don’t work hard for your future you won’t get anywhere.

I was born with one hand which makes me unique.

A lot of people want to change how they look but I wouldn’t.

I was born the way I am for a reason.

I am me and wouldn’t change that.

I can do anything a person with two hands can do but just in my own way.

Things I’m not able to do I see as a challenge.

If people tell me I can’t I show them I can.

I don’t want to be the person people feel sorry for.

I want to be the person who people look at and are amazed at what I can do.

I always look at the positive over the negative.

I will admit that at times I do need help with things.

But I’m not afraid to ask for help.

My family and friends are always there for me not matter what.

They support me in anything I believe in.

They are my Ohana.

Because of them I’m more confident in myself.

I want to show the world what I can achieve.

There are certain individuals who are rude and disrespectful.

But I try not to let them bother me.

I just brush them off my shoulder.

I have no need to worry about them.

I often worry about what others think of me.

I let it get into my head but it’s something I really shouldn’t worry about.

I shouldn’t waste time on others opinions.

I realize I should focus on myself.

With me having one hand I try not to let it hold me back.

I don’t let it keep me from achieving my goals.

I’m a hard worker and will continue to do my best.

I wouldn’t change who I am for anything

And won't let anyone change me.

I like who I am and what I have accomplished so far.

One thing I love is nailpolish.

I love painting my nails.

Some might be confused on how I paint my own nails

But really it’s not that hard.

I always find ways to do things.

Like with painting my nails.

Because I don’t have another hand to paint my nails with

I use my mouth to hold the nail polish brush and

TADA I paint my nails.

Individuals thing I can’t do certain things

But they are wrong.

I can do anything I set my mind to.

People doubt me but they shouldn’t.

No one should ever judge a book by it’s cover.

The cover might not look interesting but you never know whats

inside until you read it.

My arm is apart of me

It makes me who I am

And I would never change the way I am.

This is the life I chose and am perfectly happy with.
