14 Billion Faces

7 billion people walk this Earth

Each with a dozen faces

They say "7 billion people, 14 billion faces"

But it's more like 21 billion, at least

A face for the mama, a face for the friend

One for the boss, the teacher,

And whatever god you believe in

I'm care-free to the one who holds my heart

Guarded to the ones who tore me apart

An angel for my mother

Rebellious for my brother

Faces and faces

They come and they go

One for Monday and another for Saturday

In school, out of school

In front of people, just me alone

Faces and faces

Dozens surround me

More and more, I just don't know anymore

Over and over again,

I fight the battle to try to keep them straight

Over and over,

The faces, masks; they don't make sense

Which one for this person

Which one for today

And tomorrow,

I'lll do it all over again
