30

I want to live till thirty

Before my bones crumble into dust

I want to live till thirty

Before I stare out of ancient eyes

I want to die young

Before the pain becomes unbearable

I want to die young

Before the darkness overwhelms me

I want to live till thirty

When I still feel young and alive

I want to live till thirty

So my heart won't be broken

A thousand times

I want to die young

So my bleeding wounds

Can finally rest

I want to die young

Because I'm tired of being tired

I want to live till thirty

Because thirty years of pain

Is enough for a lifetime

I want to live till thirty

Because I'm not strong enough

I want to die young

Because my soul can take no more

I want to die young

So my tired bones can cease their aching

I want to live till thirty

Because I am a broken girl

I want to live till thirty

I want to rest my weary soul

I want to die young

Because I feel ancient inside

I want to die young

I have lived long enough

I want to live till thirty

I see no silver lining

In the blood-red sky

I want to live till thirty

And so I bid thee goodbye
