9/11

Today is the day we remember our people
who lost their lives in the twin towers.

The day that New York cried flaming tears…
That caused more pain than they released.

The day we bow our heads, to the brave men and women who lost their lives fighting those flames,
With bravery few possess who gave their lives for the life of another.

To the people on that fatal flight- 93-
who never reached their destinations.
By the bravery of those people, lives were saved.

For those who, by preventing that crash,
sealed their fate.
Made the ultimate sacrifice for their country;
for people they would never meet

Today is the day we weep our tears,
This is 9/11,
The day the twin towers fell.
