Acceptance

Walk,

Stumble, bend,

Crack, break, trip.

Swollen hearts shatter.

The whsipers grow bigger, louder.

Never silent, always wild.

A rose snaps in the wind.

The storm quiets,

So very quiet.

Beneath the terre,

A youth arises,

Thick and strong.

It grows annual,

Changing,

Like the sea.

It spreads,

Dropping it's love everywhere it traces.

Leaving its footprint.

It welcomes the birds,

Bugs, and fellows alike.

It waves for the start of new hope.
