Addiction

Location

Sadness is addictive:

Sneaks up on you at first
and before you know it, you're

trapped—

caught under it's spell.

Sadness tricks you into loving it;

seems mysterious and romantic.
In reality, it threatens to poison you from the

inside

out; to diminish you to nothing.

Sadness transforms you.

You see the world through new eyes;
and since you're more keen to pain,

your

heart is also more conscious of beauty.

Sadness becomes second nature; a guilty pleasure.

You have a bad habit of seeking it out.
For, accompanied by sadness, your

mind

traverses a tragic, yet beautiful tale.
