Addressing the Stress

Being in college can be quite a stress.

The cadets telling me how to act and dress.

Can’t stand being put under all the duress.

Sometimes it gets so bad that I want to scream and shout

And tell the world what it’s all about

Instead of yelling by myself on the quad

I go to my room and vent to my squad.

I put on my Pandora with my beats

And slide beneath my cold white sheets

I make the call for my Papa, Mr. Johns

And eat some chocolate bon bons

With my snack in my belly

My life seems less helly

To rid the rest of my crap

I take a real long nap

The coffin of blankets carry my troubles away

As I survive yet another college day.
