All Lives Matter vs. Black Lives Matter: Controversy lies within the meaning

There is so much controversy over the slogan "All Lives Matter", and I can not seem to get my mind wrapped around the idea why. Yes, black lives do matter. I, as a black woman agree with this statement. There is nothing false about this at all. So, what is wrong with all lives matter? In America today, we only see black and white when it comes to everything and anything. When Serena Williams was called a man, we as a society instantly brought Caitlyn Jenner and race into the matter. It's crazy isn't it? How our world only sees black and white. I am not saying that color doesn't matter. That is ludicrous! Color does matter. People who say they don't see color or they are colorblind are worse then those who are openly racist. Why? Well, if you don't see my color, then you don't see my heritage, my struggles and my success as a black women. By saying you don't see color means that you supress the thought of anyone being different in any way, shape, or form. You need to see my color. But, the issue of the "All Lives Matter" campaign to me all depends on your conotation and your perspective. To others, this campaign stands for white citizens of the United States supressing the thought that others have struggled and others have been fighting for decades to matter just a little in a country where white, black and other races are supposed to live equally. People, black people find it offensive when others use the all lives matter motto. As if it is a cheap version of the black lives matter movement. Me, I think the all lives matter campaign means something different. To me, it means that people no matter where you come from matters. Meaning people of the LGBTQA community matters. Those in Haiti and the DR matter. Those with disabilites, mental, emotional, and physical matter. No matter their color. I feel as though black people use the phrase black lives matter to only one kind of black person, the teenage, straight black male who was gunned down. What about the lives of transgender black females and males? Do they not matter because they have not been gunned down? Some of those people have attempted suicide because they feel as though they cannot be accepted by the black community. When using any of these phrases, people have to consider everyone and not be one sided. The black community must accept everyone in the black community no matter what. That to me is what All Lives Matter and Black Lives Matter to me. I have an All Lives Matter shirt that I made myself that I am proud of and no anti-All Lives Matter person will make me hide my pride. If you don't like the movement, then keep it to yourself. Because you rejecting me, a black female supporting both movements, means that you don't even support your own movement.
