America the Beautiful

America the Great,

America The beautiful

How can we say were the best when we fear everything that we don't know.

We have the most food on the earth but were still starving for knowledge,

All the money on the planet but still can't afford college.

The government takes our taxes and puts us in brackets,

Gives us free education but loses their mind when we ditch our classes

The power of the people is a weapon we must all wield together,

But the chains of oppression is a heavy weight that's been tethered.

Free speech allows hate but no speech emits no love.

Fascism is definitely not something I want my country to consist of.

America I love you but you have to change

There's a few unjust executive orders we need to rearrange.

For every soul that's been lost fighting for their rights.

America promise their families, that you will make things right.

My country
