To be American means you are free

It means a lot more than the daily things that we see

Our reputation is starting to decree

Too many people are being carefree, get off the couch and go get a degree

We are as free as the eagles that soar above

America the brave opening up their minds to "same love"

Does a gender really define true love?

America means you are safe no matter your race

So smart and strong, but where is your grace?

Look at you so professional with your briefcase

But you wont look a black man in the face?

Society is making you blind

There are so many people lost and falling behind
