(This poem is about everything that needs to change in America. It states my views on the world... and with that my poem)

 

America the Great? 

More like America the lame 

J Cole said it best 

American Hipocracy;

you see they came here seeking freedom

but ended up owning slaves...

 

America the Great? 

More like America the lame.

Why is it easier to 

Hate and Discriminate 

Then to say that I'm gay...

 

 

America the Great?

More like America the lame.

We're all equal right?

Tell that to my people in the grave

We're all equal right? 

Tell that to the people on the other side of the wall

Tell that to the girls who are going missing but justice is too far away to call.

Tell that to the immigrants working day and night barely making anything at all.

 

America the Great?

More like America the lame.

Did you think your voice was going to be heard?

The system is corrupt. 

The only thing they hear is the way that money talks.

 

"Let's Make America Great Again!" (Sarcasticly) 

Which part was great?

As far as I'm concerned 

Nothing has changed 

We're still broke

Equality is non exsistent 

And racism thrives 

Yet we have a president who has enough pride to say 

"We can make it great again"

What he's really saying is 

We can make it white again

We can be rich again 

We can make them slaves again 

 

So tell me 

One more time 

What is it that you were looking for?

America the Great? 

Is nothing but a lie 

America the Great 

Is nothing but a dream

America. The. Great, 

Has never existed.

 

America the Great,

The only way to make it better 

Is to Finally 

Accept Change.
