America started out with slavery.

But, we took a step of bravery.  

The pain the suffering and agony .

When the slaves needed it the most

America took a vote

and Lincoln abolished and saved.

 

When World War One was over the

Twelve years later

The Great Depression occurred

The economy was coming out to be a wreck

We took action and made a plan  

as America still fights back.

 

Years later the Cold War started.

MAD and bombs were dropping.  

USA had to help the people under attack.

I Have A Dream with more racial discrimination , but MLK had conquered the trials of that.

 

9/11 Twin Towers collapsing

People panicking

Pentagon is also in shatters.

Today now we are emotional

We still remember as Americans  

What those people had to battle

 

Modern day

gay rights have been made

but discrimination still occurs.

America’s divided.

Democratic and Republicans

Are the dominate

The other parties don't get much say

 

Trump was elected.

The Democratic party furiously enraged

Properties have been destroyed

Protest’s still happen

Make America Great Again

 

But , today is America really great?
